PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to (a) settle a sum of Rs.92,633/- towards difference in Earned Leave Salary and (b) revise the pension from March 2024 with 50% D.A. and settle pension arrears to the petitioner herein with 6% interest, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2025. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to settle a sum of Rs.92,633/- towards difference in Earned Leave Salary and to revise the pension from March 2024 with 50% D.A. and settle pension arrears to the petitioner herein with 6% interest, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2025.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner, who had joined the services of the respondent Corporation, had retired from service on 29.02.2024, however, the petitioner sent a representation on 05.11.2025 to the respondents requesting to settle a sum of Rs.92,633/- towards difference in Earned Leave Salary, to revise the pension from March 2024 with 50% D.A. and to settle pension arrears which has not been evoked any response so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondents will consider the petitioner's representation dated
05.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same within a stipulated time.
5. In view of the same, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
