This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to issue suitable directions to the Competent Authority to pass orders for giving effect post up-gradation together with pay on par with the petitioners' Junior in Finance Department in furtherance to implementation of the orders issued by the State Government in G.O.Ms.No.31, P&AR Department, dated 01.03.2017 and consequent to the Government U.O. Note No.37433/U.Spl/2013-33, P&AR Department, dated 04.07.2017 by taking note of the orders passed in Contempt Petition No.2233 of 2018, dated 08.12.2023 and in Writ Petition No.39956 of 2025 dated 25.10.2025. 2/6
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it is submitted that the request made by the petitioners has been rejected.
3. In view of the same, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

The matter is listed today under the caption 'for being mentioned' in the Chamber at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioners.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in the order dated 26.11.2025, this Court had dismissed the Writ Petition in respect of the first petitioner alone and directions were issued in respect of the petitioners 2 and 3. Therefore, he prayed for appropriate corrections. 3/6
3.In view of the said submission, paragraphs 1 to 3 of the order dated 26.11.2025 shall be substituted by the following: "This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to issue suitable directions to the Competent Authority to pass orders for giving effect post up-gradation together with pay on par with the petitioners' Junior in Finance Department in furtherance to implementation of the orders issued by the State Government in G.O.Ms.No.31, P & AR Department, dated 01.03.2017 and consequent to the Government U.O.Note No.37433/U.Spl/2013-33, P & AR Department, dated 04.07.2017 by taking note of the orders passed in Contempt Petition No.2233 of 2018, dated 08.12.2023 and in Writ Petition No.39956 of 2025, dated 25.10.2025.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, insofar as the first petitioner is concerned, it was submitted that the request made by the first petitioner has been rejected.
3. In view of the same, this writ petition is dismissed in respect of the first petitioner alone.
4. Insofar as the petitioners 2 & 3 are concerned, without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to issue directions to the Competent Authority to consider the case of the petitioners 2 & 3 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within 4/6
a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of in respect of the petitioners 2 & 3. There shall be no order as to costs."
