Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to rectify the Town survey Land Register(TSLR)the Town survey sketch, and all other cognate revenue records, by deleting the erroneous classification/entry of road/pathway for the subject portions of survey No.135/10A, 135/10C and 135/1B, 135/10D(corresponding to T.S.No.10/19 and 10/26 in Block 4, ward S) and restoring the correct classification consistent with the concluded title and patta proceedings and directing the 2nd respondents to forthwith issue a joint patta in favour of the four legal heirs of late Selvi S.Arulmozhi, namely

S.Elangovan, S.Anbalagan, S.Meganathan and S.Madheswaran, in respect of all the item 2 lands(S.No.135/10A, 135/10C, 135/10D, and part of 135/1B) within a time frame.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to rectify the land Town Survey Land Register (TSLR), the Town Survey Sketch and all other cognate revenue records by deleting the erroneous classification / entry of road / pathway for the properties more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition and restore the correct classification, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner claims that there is an error in the Town Survey Land Register (TSLR), the Town Survey Sketch and all other cognate revenue records in the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition. Hence, the petitioner seeks for removal of erroneous classification / entry of road / pathway in the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition and for restoration of the correct classification. The petitioner has filed supporting documents and has also given a representation dated 16.07.2025 to

the 1st respondent for the said purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation seeking for removal of erroneous classification / entry of road / pathway in the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition and for restoration of the correct classification, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the necessary parties.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners representation dated 16.07.2025.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 16.07.2025, seeking for rectification of the Town Survey Land Register (TSLE), the Town Survey Sketch and all cognate revenue records by deleting the erroneous classification / entry of road / pathway for the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period

of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing objections of the necessary parties.
