ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 408, 468, 471 and 477A of IPC in connection with the Cr. No.19 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner being the erstwhile Manager of the defacto complainant's company is alleged to have

misappropriated a sum of Rs.64,00,000/- in total, when he was working therein on manipulating the accounts on sale of fabrics. Hence, the case.

3. The leaned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent, and has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and ready to abide any condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that petitioner has misappropriated a huge amount of Rs.64,00,000/- and investigation in this case is still pending. Hence, she raised strong objection for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. The learned counsel for the Intervenor submitted that to escape from the investigation, and with an intention to retain the wrongful gains petitioner has filed this anticipatory bail petition. He further contends that if the accused is release on bail will tamper with the evidence, hamper the investigation and thereby, opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature and gravity of offence, stage of investigation, the amount involved in the offence,

and so far no money is recovered, and the manner in which the offence alleged to have taken place, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
