The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioners in any 1/4
manner, except by following due process of law.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that one Mohanraj has given a complaint about the suicide of his brother, Jayakumar. Based on the complaint, a case in Crime No.81 of 2025 was registered for offence under Section 194 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita. During the enquiry, it was found that the deceased has left a suicide note implicating the first petitioner, who is his wife and thereby the petitioners are being called for enquiry. Other than that, the respondents are not harassing the petitioner.
3. Recording the same, the criminal original petition stands closed with a direction to the petitioners to appear for enquiry in accordance with law.
