ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 03/11/2025, 04/11/2025, 06/11/2025, 11/11/2025 and pass orders in accordance with law, by removing anomaly in pay fixation and fixing their pay on par with their juniors with effect from 01/01/2018 and consequently, to disburse the arrears of salary and pensionary benefits with the corresponding increase, so as to secure the ends of justice.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners were appointed as Grade II Constable. Subsequently, they were promoted to the post of Special Sub Inspector of Police from the year 2018. In the year 2020, there was pay anomaly in fixation of pay, as a result of which, their junior's pay was fixed higher than that of the petitioners. Therefore, the petitioners submitted a detailed representations to the respondents on 03.11.2025, 04.11.2025,

06.11.2025, and 11.11.2025 to remove the disparity and equal pay par with the juniors. However, the same was not considered till date. Hence the present writ petition has been filed.

4.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representations and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks (12) from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
