PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the XVI Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, to expedite the trial and disposal of O.S.No.3912 of 2023, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The respondent herein has filed a suit for permanent injunction along with various other reliefs. The suit was filed in the year 2023. A perusal of the adjudication sheet filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that the pleadings of the parties have already been completed and the issues were framed as early as on 15.06.2024. Thereafter, there has been no substantial progress in the trial. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. Taking into consideration that the suit is of the year 2023 and the issues were framed as early as on 15.06.2024, this Court is inclined to direct the learned XVI Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.3912 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this civil revision petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
