The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to VII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of R.L.T.A.No.236 of 2023 expeditiously.

The petitioners herein filed a petition for repossession in R.L.T.O.P.No.43 of 2023 against the respondent and the same was disposed of in favour of the petitioners by granting order for repossession on 29.09.2023. Aggrieved by the same, the respondent preferred an appeal in R.L.T.A.No.236 of 2023 VII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai and the same is pending, till date.

3. A perusal of the adjudication papers filed in the typed-set of papers would indicate the appeal was posted for arguments as early as 23.07.2024 and thereafter, there is no substantial progress. Taking into consideration the appeal was of the year 2023 and it was posted for argument during July-2024, the VII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of R.L.T.A.No.236 of 2023, as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
