ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 155 days in filing the appeal, questioning the award in MCOP No.1476 of 2017 passed by the Tribunal / Special Court - II, Small Causes Court, Chennai.

2.In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it had been stated that certified copy of order had been applied on 08.01.2025, after much considerable delay and thereafter, legal sanction to be obtained and in this procedure, there has been delay in filing the appeal.

3.Notice had been directed to the respondent and counsel had also entered appearance.

4.It is stated that the parties had entered into settlement with respect to the compensation payable.

5.Taking all the factors into consideration, the delay is condoned. Accordingly, this petition stands allowed.

6.The Registry is directed to number the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal and post the same before the National Lok Adalat, which is scheduled to be held on 13.12.2025.
