Pappinackanahalli Village comprised in S.No. 603/2E2 Dharmapuri Taluk and District considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2025 07.04.2025 and 16.10.2025.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for the following relief : "To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to make provisions for access to the petitioner's property in S.No.603/2E1 situated at Pappinaickanahalli Village, Dharmapuri Taluk and District from the NH-844 by removing the electricity No. 006-018-108-158 which is fixed on a wall on the land acquired by the 2nd respondent at Pappinackanahalli Village comprised in S.No. 603/2E2 Dharmapuri Taluk and District considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2025 07.04.2025 and 16.10.2025."

2. The petitioner is the owner of the subject property and the lands adjacent to his property in Survey No.603/2E belonged to one Perumal. The said Perumal had obtained electricity service connection No. 006-018-108-158. The NHAI had acquired the entire portion of the lands belonged to said Perumal for the purpose of widening the roads. However, the electricity connection which is fixed on a wall in the lands of said Perumal which was acquired by the

NHAI, still exists, and this prevents free access to the petitioner's property. Hence, the petitioner had made several representations to the authorities concerned. Since the authorities had not taken any action on the same, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

The learned counsel appearing for TANGEDCO, on instructions would submit that the authorities had conducted survey of the property and had found that the property in S.No. 603/2E2 at Pappinackanahalli Village, Dharmapuri Taluk and District, belonged to NHAI and on 19.01.2026, the electricity service connection No.006-018-158 standing on the damaged wall, has been removed.

5. The statement made by the learned counsel is recorded. Since, the relief claimed by the petitioner has been considered and granted by the authorities concerned, no orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.
