ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to record the assignment patta dated 09.08.2004 granted in favour of the petitioners in the revenue records, by considering the petitioners' representation, dated 01.07.2025. Page No.2 of 7
2. The petitioners claim that they have been issued with assignment patta dated 09.08.2004. They seek for recording the same in the revenue records, for which, they have given a representation dated 01.07.2025 to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.C.Jaya Prakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to consider and pass final orders on the petitioners' representation, dated 01.07.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Accordingly, the 3rd respondent is directed to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation, dated 01.07.2025, seeking recording of the assignment patta dated 09.08.2004 standing in the name of the petitioners, in the revenue records, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a Page No.3 of 7
copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
