ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking return of the petitioner's passport bearing No.V1133295, which was surrendered in compliance with the order of this Court in Crl.OP.No.11347 of 2024 dated 07.06.2024, for the purpose of renewal.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner requires the passport to be returned for the purpose of renewal.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner's passport is valid up to the year 2031 and therefore, strongly opposed the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and considering that the passport is valid till 2031, this Court finds no merit in the petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
