ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioners for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Since the petitioners' application, dated 15.03.2024, seeking for issuance of patta has not been considered by the respondents till date, the petitioners have been constrained to file this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jaya Prakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and he would submit that the respondents have already issued summons to the petitioners for the appearance of the petitioners in respect of their application seeking issuance of patta. He would further submit that the respondents require twelve (12) weeks time for passing final orders on the petitioners' application.

4. In view of the above, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' online application, dated 15.03.2024, seeking issuance of Page No.2 of 4

patta in their name for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' application.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
