ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed, seeking a direction to the learned District Judge, Coimbatore to dispose of O.S.No.396 of 2018, within a time frame, fixed by this court.

2. The respondents herein/plaintiffs filed the above said suit for recovery of money against the petitioner. This court, in CRP No.1431 of 2022, dated 29.04.2022, directed the trial court to dispose of O.S.No.396 of 2018 within a period of three months from the date of communication of the order. Inspite of the same, the said suit is still pending.

3. A perusal of the e-court status filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that the suit was posted for trial as early as on 17.06.2022. However, trial has not yet commenced. It is further seen that the suit was again posted for framing of issues on 19.07.2025 and the matter was periodically adjourned from time to time, without any progress. It is not known as to why the suit was 2/4

again posted for framing of issues, when the same was listed for trial as early as on 17.06.2022. In any event, taking into consideration that the main prayer in the suit was only for recovery of money and the suit was of the year 2018, this court is inclined to direct the learned District Judge, Coimbatore to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.396 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible, keeping in mind the time frame already fixed by this court in CRP No.1431 of 2022.

4. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed. There shall be no order as to costs.
