ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 03.09.2025 and nominate the name of petitioners wife Mrs. Parvathi in his pension records as his nominee.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the retired employee of the University of madras. His first wife Nirmala had passed away. The petitioner

has four children through his first marriage. In the year 2022, he got remarried one Parvathi in the year 2024. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent to nominate the name of petitioners wife Mrs. Parvathi in his pension records as his nominee and the same is not considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2025 after issuing notice to the legal heirs of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
