ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to correct the name in the subject patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 11.11.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and he would point out that the representation given by the petitioner is for transfer of patta, but the prayer sought for in this writ petition is for correction of patta.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would now submit that the petitioner is willing to give a fresh representation to the respondents seeking correction of patta as prayed for in this writ petition.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation seeking for correction of patta as prayed for in this writ petition is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the 1st respondent seeking correction of the subject patta for the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, as prayed for in this writ petition, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said representation, the 1st respondent shall pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.
