..Respondent(s) Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to Call for the entire records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the Respondent in Moo.Mu.No.(C3 /38487 /2020 dated 31/11/2021, subsequent letter (O.Mu) C3/ 3872467 /2025, dated 16/10/2025 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the Respondent to grant the renewal of gun license to the petitioner with in the time bound manner fixed by this Honourable Court and grant any other relief which the Honourable Court deems fit in the Circumstances of the case in the interests of Justice. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "to Call for the entire records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the Respondent in Moo.Mu.No.(C3 /38487 /2020 dated 31/11/2021, subsequent letter (O.Mu) C3/ 3872467 /2025, dated 16/10/2025 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the Respondent to grant the renewal of gun license to the petitioner with in the time bound manner fixed by this Honourable Court and grant any other relief which the Honourable Court deems fit in the Circumstances of the case in the interests of Justice."

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent fairly conceded that the impugned order has been passed without assigning proper reasons. He submitted, on instructions, that if the petitioner makes a fresh application, the same shall be duly considered.

4. In view of the above submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions:- (i)The impugned order is set aside.

(ii)The petitioner is directed to make a fresh application to the respondent.

(iii)The respondent shall dispose of the application of the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of submission of the application by the petitioner. No costs.
