ORDER
Mr.L. Jaivenkatesh, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The relief sought in this writ petition is a direction to the respondents 1 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2025.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had submitted an online application for electricity service connection on 29.01.2025. Therefore, he submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents 1 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 2/5
30.08.2025.
4. However, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's application was cancelled on 20.02.2025 and therefore, the same may be recorded and suitable directions may be issued.
5. Recording the fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, by granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh application for electricity service connection before the respondents, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and on such submission, the respondents shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.
6. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
