ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as an accused in a case of cattle theft registered by the Edaikkal Police Station, Kallakurichi in Cr.No.33 of 2023, in which case, investigation has been completed and the matter is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Ulundurpet in C.C.No.178 of 2023 and that only as a routine check up, the respondent police have visited the petitioner's house and that the petitioner has not been harassed by the respondent police.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this criminal original petition stands closed.
