The petitioner was arrested on 26.05.2025, on execution of NonBailable Warrant issued by the learned II Additional District Judge, Salem, for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 364 and 302 r/w 149 of IPC pending trial in S.C.No.305 of 2015, seeks bail. The earlier bail applications of the petitioner was dismissed by this Court, vide orders dated 01.08.2025 and 07.10.2025 in Crl.O.P.Nos.21607 and 26038 of 2025, respectively. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that originally the petitioner was earlier arrested and released on bail and he was regularly appearing before the Trial Court for the case in S.C.No.305 of 2015; that since the petitioner was remanded to judicial custody in connection with another case, he was not able to appear before the Trial Court on 07.11.2024, hence a NBW was issued as against the petitioner and subsequently, the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.05.2025; and that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner. 3.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that there are totally 28 witnesses in this case and out of which, 17 witnesses were already examined and the case is now in 2/4

IO stage. He further submitted that the trial is progressing; that the petitioner has 22 previous cases, including 302 cases; and the petitioner has jumped bail for nearly 12 times, hence opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has bad antecedents, and taking into account that this is the successive bail petition filed by the petitioner without any change in circumstances after dismissal of the earlier bail petition in Crl.O.P.No.26038 of 2025, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
