Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to include the name of the petitioner in the panel for the promotion to the post of Forester of the year 2025-2026 by considering his representation dated 14.11.2025 and consequently direct the second respondent to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner dated 14.03.2024.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second and third respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2025 seeking inclusion of his name in the panel for promotion to the post of Forester for the year 2025-2026.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second and third respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2025 seeking inclusion of his name in the panel for promotion to the post of Forester for the year 2025-2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
