ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide suitable alternative employment/light duty of the petitioner, commensurate with his functional ability, on a permanent basis and without any interruptions, with continuity of service, pay protection, back wages and other service benefits and to treat the entire period during which he was denied light duty as duty with pay for all purposes, based on the medical report of the third respondent Medical Board. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3.Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first and second respondents are directed to subject the petitioner to medical examination and pass appropriate orders regarding alternative employment on Page No.2 of 4
merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, as per the medical report. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
