O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to issue the legal heirs certificate in favour of the petitioner by considering the representation dated 12.02.2025".

2. The petitioner would submit that her husband late N.Aravindan, who was a CRPF officer had died on 17.11.2023, while in duty. Thereafter, the petitioner had approached the authorities seeking issuance of legal heir certificate. However, the same was returned stating that the deceased was having two wives. 3.The petitioner would submit that she married the said Aravindan at Vembuliamman Temple, Vellore and the said marriage was registered on 10.12.2010 at Superintendent of District Registrar 2/5

Office, Vellore. The petitioner made her representation on 12.02.2025 to the respondents 1 and 2 to issue legal heir certificate. Since there is no response, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the records.

Considering the limited relief, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders, after due notice and giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and the 3rd respondent, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
