O R D E R

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.09.2025, for the offences punishable under Section 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(c) of NDPS Act in Crime No.380 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The allegations against the petitioner is that the petitioner was found in possession of 1.873 kgs of cannabis resin (ganja paste commercial 1/3

quantity) Hence he was arrested.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in custody from 17.09.2025 and he has been falsely implicated in this case and that already the contraband was seized. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reported that the petitioner is hailing from Kerala and contraband sized is also commercial quantity, hence, rigors of section 37 of NDPS Act is applicable. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that section 37 of NDPS Act is applicable to the case of the petitioner and so far no grounds have been made out, I am not inclined to consider the bail application of the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
