ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus to subdivide the lands more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition and issue a separate subdivision patta in favour of the petitioner, after subdivision, based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.The petitioner has stated that the lands comprise of a larger extent and a portion of the same belongs to the petitioner absolutely and the remaining belongs to the temple. The petitioner seeks for subdivision of his land and for issuance of a separate patta in his name. He has given a representation on 01.09.2025 for the said purpose. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
6.The petitioner has filed documents along with this writ petition for the purpose of obtaining separate subdivision patta as prayed for in this writ petition.
7.It is for the respondents to consider the same, on merits and thereafter, decide as to whether separate patta can be issued for sub divided portion as prayed for in the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025. 8.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025 seeking for issuance of a separate subdivision
patta for the land more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition in the name of the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the objections of the temple as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire. 9.With the above observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
