ORDER

The petitioner seeks production of his minor daughter namely, Vidhya, aged about 17 years before this Court and set her at liberty. As directed by this Court vide order dated 02.12.2025, the first respondent police secured the minor daughter of the petitioner from the Srilankan Refugee Camp and produced before this Court through video conferencing and the petitioner also appeared along with his daughter. Further the detenue reported this Court that she is ready to go with 2 / 6

her father viz. the petitioner herein and the petitioner also expressed his readiness and willingness to take his child.

In view of the above, the Srilankan Refugee Camp, Kilputhupatti, Villupuram District, is directed to handover the custody of the minor Vidhya to the petitioner, who is her father the natural guardian, after obtaining necessary documents. 3 / 6
