This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 493 days in filing the appeal as against the award dated 09.02.2024 made in M.A.C.T.O.P.No.991 of 2022 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Special Sub Court, Tiruvannamalai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.M.Krishnamoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd & 3rd respondents.

3. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 493 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioners will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 493 days, in the appeal.

4. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case for admission in due course.
