ORDER
Vide order dated 27.10.2025 made in Crl.OP.No.29055 of 2025, this Court had directed the petitioners to surrender before the jurisdictional court within a period of fifteen days from the date of the said order. The present criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to extend the time to surrender before the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court of SC/ST Act, Tiruvannamalai District as directed by this Court.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that due to the penurious condition of the petitioners, they were unable to obtain the copy of the order passed by this Court and thereby, they have not complied with the direction of this Court within the stipulated time, which is neither wilful nor wanton. Accordingly, he prayed for appropriate orders.
3. On the above said contentions, heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 1st and 2nd respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and also considering the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is inclined to grant the prayer sought by the petitioners.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered and the petitioners are directed to surrender before the court concerned within a period of one week from today.
