2. Mr.R.Sreedhar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of respondent.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she is the legally wedded wife of late Subburaj who was employed as a Conductor in the Respondent Corporation and passed away during the course of his employment on 01.01.2024. The petitioner's marriage to the deceased was solemnized on 07.09.2003 after the dissolution of first marriage of the deceased with one Nagalakshmi @ Sugunal. Being the sole nominee, the petitioner is entitled to the terminal benefits of her deceased husband and therfore, she had submitted a representation dated 26.02.2024 to the respondents seeking disbursement of such benefits in her favour. However, the said representation has not been considered till date and therefore, in order to espouse the said cause, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 26.02.2024 of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
