ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned II Additional Subordinate Judge, Coimbatore to dispose of HMOP No.578 of 2023, within a time frame, fixed by this court.

2. The petitioner/husband filed the above said HMOP No.578 of 2023 seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty and the same is pending from the year 2023. As per the direction issued by this court in an earlier hearing, the Presiding Officer concerned submitted a report stating that the respondent/wife has not filed counter to the main HMOP No.578 of 2023 till date. It is also seen from the report that the respondent/wife filed an application under Section 24 of Hindu Marriage Act in I.A.No.1 of 2024 and the same is posted for production of bank account statement of the respondent/wife.

3. Taking into consideration that the petition for interim maintenance under Section 24 of Hindu Marriage Act, filed by the respondent/wife is pending, I am inclined to direct the Trial Court to dispose of the application in I.A.No.1 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible. After disposal of the said application, the Trial Court shall take up the HMOP No.578 of 2023 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
