ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 3 to rectify the UDR mistake pertaining to the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2025.
2. The petitioner claims that an UDR mistake had crept in over his property. Therefore, he seeks to rectify the same and for the said purpose, he has submitted an application dated 01.11.2025 to the respondents 1 and 3. Since the said application has not been considered till date, he has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents 1 to 3, if the petitioner's application dated 01.11.2025 seeking for rectification of the UDR mistake is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the fourth respondent as well as any other party, whom the official respondents deem fit to put on notice. According to the petitioner, in view of the objections raised by the fourth respondent, the petitioner's application seeking for rectification of the __________Page 2 of 4
UDR mistake has not been considered by the official respondents.
5. For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) After hearing the objections of the fourth respondent, and any other third party, whom the second respondent deems fit to put on notice, the second respondent is directed to pass final orders on the petitioner's application dated 01.11.2025 seeking for rectification of the alleged UDR mistake crept in over his property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition.
(b) The second respondent is directed to complete the aforesaid exercise within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
