ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to survey and demarcate the property and issue patta, which according to the

petitioner is owned by her, based on her representation dated 03.10.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted her representation dated 03.10.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondent if the said authority is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party as they deem fit. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondent is directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice;

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondent shall conduct survey

and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;

(c) With regard to the second limb of prayer sought for by the petitioner, i.e. issuance of separate patta in the name of the petitioner is concerned, the petitioner will have to submit a separate representation, once survey and demarcation of boundaries is completed pursuant to the directions issued by this Court today;

(d) The respondent shall also consider the said representation to be submitted by the petitioner, seeking for issuance of separate patta in her name of her portion of the property and pass final orders on the said representation as well within a period of eight weeks from the date when the Survey and demarcation has been done.
