ORDER
This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking directions to the second respondent to secure the detenue viz. Amutha, aged about 35 years, who is the wife of the petitioner and to produce her before this Court. 1 / 4
This Court, while disposing of this Habeas Corpus Petition, vide order dated 05.12.2025, directed the respondent police to secure the detenue and produce her before this Court and the matter was directed to be listed on 15.12.2025 under the caption "for reporting compliance".
Today, when the matter is called for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that on investigation/enquiry, it appears that there was dispute between the husband and wife and as per the available information received from the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer, Bureau of Immigration, Chennai, the detenue/wife is now in Dubai. Learned counsel for the petitioner requested this Court to record the same. The submissions and the status report filed by the respondent police is hereby recorded. However, the petitioner/husband is at liberty to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
