ORDER

The petitioners have filed the present contempt petition against the respondents, alleging that they have disobeyed the orders of this Court, dated 29.05.2025 in W.M.P.No. 21918 of 2025 in W.P.No. 19549 of 2025.

According to the petitioners, they are still working as teachers; however, their salaries have not been disbursed due to the objections raised by the first respondent herein, who is the petitioner in in W.P. No.19549 of 2025 and W.P. No.21726 of 2025. Owing to such objections, the petitioners were unable to receive their salaries.

3. On a perusal of the common order passed by this Court in the combined writ petitions, it is evident that this Court granted a stay of the impugned order dated 15.05.2025 issued by the fourth respondent. Consequently, the termination order issued by the fourth respondent stood

stayed by this Court. The first respondent has challenged the termination order passed by the second respondent.

The learned counsel submitted that, despite the stay order granted by this Court, the bank has not disbursed the salaries to the petitioners, who are still working as teachers in the disputed school. As on date, there is no specific order restraining the disbursement of salary to the petitioners, nor is there any stay order to that effect. Therefore, the bank is directed to disburse the salaries to the petitioners/teachers.

5. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that of now, there are no specific orders with regard to the disbursement of salary. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioners raised an objection stating that the first respondent had given an objection to the bank, due to which the salaries were not disbursed. However, as per the letter issued by the bank dated 12.08.2025, there is no specific allegation against the first respondent. Therefore, the objection alleged to have been raised by the first respondent with regard to the disbursement of salary to the petitioners is not sustainable, and the first respondent is relieved from the contempt proceedings.

6. As on date, the second respondent also has no objection to the disbursement of salary to the petitioners and is directed to cooperate with the

bank for the disbursement of salaries. Accordingly, the bank is directed to disburse the salaries to the petitioners within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. However, the first respondent is entitled to contest her case independently on merits. 09-01-2026 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes rri Note: Issue order copy by 12.01.2026.
