ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.13 of 2024 on the file of the 1st respondent police.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that the matter has been referred to mediation by the learned V Addl. Family Court, Chennai. Before the mediation, the matter has been settled between the parties and a settlement agreement has been entered into between them. He would further submit that based on the settlement agreement, the case in F.I.R.No.13 of 2024 may be quashed.
3. Learned counsel appearing for 2nd respondent/de facto complainant would submit that the matter has been settled between the parties and the 2nd respondent/de facto complainant had received an amount of Rs.12,00,000/- and hence, the impugned F.I.R. may be quashed.

4. Both parties are present before this court and they were also identified by the 1st respondent police and their respective counsel. In the said circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and the case in Crime No.13 of 2024 on the file of the 1st respondent police is quashed. 18-12-2025 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order RPP To
