The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 18.10.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Section 25(1A) of Arms Act, 1959 in Crime No.716 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 1.5 kgs of ganja. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner has 15 previous cases. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner that he is having 15 previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
