Respondent(s) PRAYER Direct the respondents herein to update the revenue entries in the revenue records and in the online maintaining by the respondents herein based on the assignment proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 01.02.2008 in HSD.NO. 1447/1417 and by considering the representation of the petitioner herein dated 11.07.2025 thereby mutate the name of the petitioner regarding the house site property comprised in Ward No. A, Block No.10, S.No. 1, Plot No.1/190 at 52, Hasthampatti Village and Taluk, Salem.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2025, seeking for mutation of her name in the revenue records maintained by the respondents pertaining to the property morefully described in the prayer to this

writ petition based on the assignment proceedings dated 01.02.2008 passed by the second respondent in petitioner's favour within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that by virtue of the assignment proceedings dated 01.02.2008 passed by the second respondent, the petitioner has now become the owner of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. She also submits that she has satisfied the conditions of the assignment proceedings and hence, she is entitled for the mutation of her name in the revenue records maintained by the respondents. In such circumstances, she has given a representation on 11.07.2025 to the respondents, seeking for mutation of revenue records in her name for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2025 based on the assignment proceedings dated 01.02.2008 passed in favour of the petitioner is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2025 seeking for mutation of revenue records in her name for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the assignment proceedings dated 01.02.2008 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
