ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2025, seeking for mutation of his name in the revenue records maintained by the respondents pertaining to the property morefully described in the prayer to this

writ petition based on the assignment proceedings dated 01.02.2008 passed by the second respondent in petitioner's favour within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that by virtue of the assignment proceedings dated 01.02.2008 passed by the second respondent, the petitioner has now become the owner of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. He also submits that he has satisfied the conditions of the assignment proceedings and hence, he is entitled for the mutation of his name in the revenue records maintained by the respondents. In such circumstances, he has given a representation on 02.07.2025 to the respondents, seeking for mutation of revenue records in his name for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2025 based on the assignment proceedings dated 01.02.2008 passed in favour of the petitioner is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2025 seeking for mutation of revenue records in his name for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the assignment proceedings dated 01.02.2008 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
