ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to update the revenue entries in the revenue records and in the online maintained by the respondents, based on the assignment proceedings of the second respondent dated 01.02.2008 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2025, thereby mutating the name of the petitioner for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. 2.The petitioner claims that she is in possession of the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, pursuant to the assignment proceedings of the second respondent dated 01.02.2008. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, patta has not been issued. She has made a representation to the respondents on 11.07.2025 seeking for issuance of patta.
Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. He would submit, on instructions, that the persons who are in possession of the properties, pursuant to the assignment proceedings, are being identified and if sufficient time is granted, once they are identified, the process of issuance of patta will commence within a period of six months. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2025 seeking for issuance of patta is considered, on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court has also taken into consideration the fact that the respondents are in the process of identifying the persons, who are eligible to get patta as per the assignment proceedings, which is referred to by the petitioner in this writ petition.
6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2025 seeking for issuance of patta for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, which according to the petitioner, she is entitled to, based on the assignment proceedings of the second respondent dated 01.02.2008 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
