O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents for revising the basic pension by including one year training period from 01.01.1994 to 02.12.1994 and for payment of the difference in pension amount from May 2024 together with interest at the rate of 10% to the petitioner.

2. Ms.S.Pavithra, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent. Mr.C.S.K.Sathish, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.

It is the case of the petitioner that, at the time of his retirement from the service of the respondent corporation, the period of training was not taken into account while calculating his pension for which, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 23.10.2025 to the respondents. Since, the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 23.10.2025 of the petitioner and pass appropriate on merits within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. On the above contention, this Court heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons if any, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No Costs.
