Mr. Kritheeshwaran representing Mr. Abishek Murthy takes notice on behalf of the R1 and R2. Mr. L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for R3 to R5. 2.The petitioner is the owner of the agricultural land to an extent of 16.75 acres situated in Survey Nos. 306, 322/1, 330 of Kethanur Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District. He states that the 5 th respondent has entered upon the property and started taking measurement of the same. He fears that the respondents will take over the property, without resorting to the Land 2/5

Acquisition proceedings.

3. Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, on instructions, reports that there is a proposal to acquire certain portions of the land situated in Survey No. 322/1 of Kethanur Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District and in order to confirm the extent that is required for such acquisition, the Revenue Authorities merely measured the property. He states that the respondents will not interfere with the possession of the petitioner, without acquisition of the property, as required under the Acquisition Laws. The statement is recorded.

4. The writ petition stands disposed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
