Respondent(s) PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records
pertaining to the illegal, arbitrary and unlawful appointment of the 4th respondent as the Nominated Member (Differently-Abled category) of Thiruninravur Municipality, Tiruvallur District, made by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka. No.405/ 2021/F1 dated 25.11.2025 and quash the same as being contrary to G.O. Ms. No.119, Municipal Administration and water Supply Department, dated 26.06.2025 and violative of Rule 153-A of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023, since the 4th respondent neither possesses any social service credentials nor satisfies the mandatory eligibility criteria prescribed for nomination under the Differently -Abled category and consequently directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 29.07.2025 strictly in accordance with G.O. Ms. No.119 dated 26.06.2025 read with Rule 153-A and to appoint the petitioner as the Nominated Member (DifferentlyAbled Category) of Thiruninravur Municipality, based on disability status, residency, merit, social service credentials and all other statutory eligibility norms.

ORDER
Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
