ORDER
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B), 22(b), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act 1985, in Crime No.3 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 13.01.2025, while the respondent police were on patrol rounds near Balappanatham Village, they spotted a Tamil Nadu registered Car TN-07-W-7290 and on suspicion, when they raided the said car, they found the petitioner along with other co-accused in illegal possession of 10 KG of Ganja. Hence, this case.
3. This Court earlier dismissed the anticipatory bail petition of the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.16595 of 2025 dated 06.10.2025 on the ground that the petitioner was involved in the transportation of 10 kgs of Ganja and further observed that if the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail, he will indulge in similar offences. Hence, this Court is not inclined to reconsider the earlier order and there is no change in circumstances. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
