The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) & 351(3) of BNS in Crime No.558 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, due to previous enmity, the petitioner along with other accused, attacked the defacto complainant using bottles and caused grievous injuries. Hence, the present case has been registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the injured is still undergoing treatment in the hospital and that the petitioner is involved in five previous cases of similar nature. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the nature of the allegations, the fact that the injured is still hospitalized, and the antecedents of the petitioner involving five previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
