(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN J.) This Writ of Habeas Corpus Petition has been listed under the caption "For Reporting Compliance".

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor filed a status report on behalf of the third respondent-Police, wherein it was stated that pursuant to the investigation, the respondents-Police have formed a special team and have taken earnest and continuous steps to trace and secure the detenu, who is a mentally retarded person. It was further submitted that, and that he would be produced before this Court at the earliest possible.

3. Recording the same, this Court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in this petition. However, the respondents-Police are directed to secure the detenu and produce him before this Court as expeditiously as possible.
