O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pay difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears with 10% interest as per 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 to the petitioner.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner joined in the service of the first respondent Corporation as Driver on 15.05.1987 and has rendered nearly 37 years of continuous service and he was retired from service on 31.03.2024. After retirement, the respondents settled the terminal benefits based on salary paid on 31.03.2024. 15th wage settlement was not extended to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 07.11.2025

to pay difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears with 10% interest. Till date, the respondents neither replied nor settled the claim amount. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.11.2025 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
