ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24.10.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 120(B), 420, 468, 471 & 409 of IPC, in Crime No.02 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2.The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner joining hands with other accused were running a Trust in the name of Mother Teresa Foundation, Tiruppur District and they approached various parties claiming themselves that they have likely to be received Rs.1,000 Crore and for the purpose of getting the same, they need some money and induced the defacto complainant and some others to pay the same and accordingly they collected Rs.1.75 Crores from various persons and cheated them. Hence the case 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in

judicial custody from 24.10.2025 and she, being a lady and having participated in the trust activities, she has been falsely implicated in this case and all the trust activities are actually carried out by the first accused in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reported that the petitioner alone has collected Rs.86 lakhs from the defacto complainant and further she has also actively participated in the trust affairs apart from a sum of Rs.1.75 Crores referred in the FIR, some more huge amounts have been received by this petitioner's trust and separate complaints have also been received in this regard. Hence, he opposed for the grant of bail to the petitioner. 5.I have also gone through the FIR and other connected materials which reveals that it is the case of cheating and the petitioner made false promise and misrepresentation, they induced the victims to part with the money and they collected huge amount and so far no money is recovered, hence I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
