This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner/wife under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking withdrawal of H.M.O.P. No.178 of 2025 pending on the file of the Family Court, Villupuram and transfer of the same to the file of the Sub Court, Chidambaram. 3.

The petitioner is the wife and is stated to be residing at Chidambaram. It is submitted that the respondent/husband is placed at Chennai and residing at Chennai. It is further submitted that though the petitioner is working at Puducherry, she is residing at Chidambaram along with the minor child and the child is in the custody of the petitioner/mother.

Having regard to the above circumstances, particularly the convenience of the petitioner/wife and the fact that the minor child is with the mother at Chidambaram, this Court is inclined to allow the transfer petition. 5.

Accordingly, Tr.C.M.P. No.1336 of 2025 is allowed and H.M.O.P. No.178 of 2025 pending on the file of the Family Court, Villupuram is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Sub Court, Chidambaram, to be taken up and disposed of in accordance with

law. The Family Court, Villupuram is directed to transmit the entire records forthwith to the Sub Court, Chidambaram. In view of the above, C.M.P. No.30897 of 2025 is closed. No costs.
