Respondent(s) PRAYER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to furnish the Land Plan Schedule(LPS),pertaining to the land in S.No. 95 and 96/2 situated at Erikarai Road, Kollacherry Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram district which is subject to land acquisition in Proc.Na.Ka.No.

ORDER

In order to obtain necessary information relating to a proposed road formation, the petitioner had requested for a copy of the land plan schedule. According to the petitioner, such land plan schedule was not provided and, instead, a mere sketch was provided. Hence, this writ petition.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the petitioner is required to remit necessary charges for issuance of the land plan schedule. Subject to receipt thereof, he submits that the land plan schedule would be provided to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of on the following terms: (i) The petitioner shall remit the necessary charges for obtaining a copy of the land plan schedule to the second respondent within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(ii) Within two weeks therefrom, the second respondent is directed to provide a copy of the land plan schedule to the petitioner. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 16-12-2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
