ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2025, seeking for issuance of patta in his name for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner claims that he has been in possession of the property for a long number of years and has also been paying taxes. The petitioner claims that the property ought to have been classified as "Gramanatham" instead of "Vaari". The petitioner has therefore given a representation on 26.07.2025 to the respondents for conversion of classification of the property from "Vaari" to "Gramanatham" and for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner. Since the representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, Page No.2 of 5
accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Accordingly, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2025, seeking for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition and also consider the petitioner's request for conversion of the classification of the property from "Vaari" to "Gramanatham", within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
